As an update, I can successfully send commands from Putty and the lights respond. Can't get the locks to respond that way yet but as soon as I connect to the Elve driver, the VRC0P "locks up" and needs to be defaulted and added back into the network.
I wonder if anyone has ever used the Zwave driver and it worked??
Does anyone here have the source for the driver?

Still working here too.
You may need to select another station. That's what happened to me a while back, the station I was using no longer existed.

I haven't tried that yet only because I just moved and I can't find my installer stick for the zwave network.
Was hoping the VRC0P held the config but it's looking like it doesn't.
Gonna have to go digging in my storage unit I guess....

I don't see any reason to stop using Elve! Still just works.

Not using my Omni Pro anymore and am trying to get the Elve Zwave driver going.
In the device properties, for battery level, lock state, and all thermostat entries I get this error:
Error: OverflowException: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow.

And this in the log:

Always suggesting it to other people also, hoping to keep it alive.

Is Elve Mobile available for the latest IOS version? Just upgraded a phone and I can't find it in the market anymore. I figure John must still use it so it should be there, right?

General Discussion / Re: Touchscreen builder please help
« on: June 04, 2015, 04:41:28 am »
Look again. :)

It's in the Elve start menu folder. It is part of the initial installation, providing you selected it when asked. Although I think it's defaulted as checked for new installations??

If you don't have "Touch Screen Builder" in your start menu, just reinstall Elve and select it when asked.

The work around would be to rewrite the driver. It's very old and was written before the Vera was changed to a different port. There is a .net library already written if you're interested.

Tons of options, depends on how much you want to spend.

https://www.controlanything.com/Relay/Relay/RS232_Relay_Controllers

Another option would be to just get some relays and use a 12v wall wart with an outlet of your lighting protocol. When you turn on the outlet, the 12v would energize the relays, changing to the "b" side. When the outlet is off, the relay would be on the "a" side.

You didn't say how many outputs you needed.

General Discussion / Re: Emailing Hyperlink
« on: March 03, 2015, 05:47:17 am »
Absolutely! Just put the hyperlink as the body of the message and it'll work just fine.
I think the only roadblock will be the email client used to read the message. As long as it is set for html, not rich text, it should be fine.

BTW, I do it too so I know it works.
