Minimal driver example
« on: April 10, 2013, 02:58:05 pm »
Does any have an example of a minimal driver besides what's in the documentation?

Specifically a vb.net example?

I have a driver in C# that not too complicated I could send you.  What specific things are you looking for in an example?

What are you wanting to do a driver for? ;)

I always wanted to be somebody. In retrospect, I think I should have been more specific.

A simple driver to send notifications to my android device.

I'm kind of a python guy so just need a starting point as I don't really know c# or visual Basic

What kind of notifications? Like SMS notifications?

I am not using auto remote currently. Would you mind providing an example of something you wish to do? Is the idea to have taker react to an Elve trigger? Thanks for the clarification.

Elve 2.0 has this built-in already.

Really I was just trying to do something simple to try and learn.

I'd like to send a push notification to my phone based on alarm status changes.  Auto remote feeds to Tasker which I can use to update widgets on the phone.

I have something I can send you that is in VB if you haven't received anything yet. It won't be until Sunday cause I am out of town until then.
