Oh sure. I can add you to the beta testing group if you would like a sneak peek. Still working on integrating the interfaces as mentioned before. Work (well my real work) has been busy and has been eating up my free time lately. Once that settles down I should be able to get more time in to hammer this thing out. I am now shooting for 30 days from now until initial completion and then we can move into beta testing.

Working on the driver on and off. Currently work/family load is killing my free time. Here are some progress update pics:

Updated cover art so it can be downloaded locally or online. Added fan art support.

This is great.  I've been tinkering with a driver for XBMC but I never really got beyond exchanging a few messages back and forth!  Please, add me to your beta test if you can, I'm very interested in this.

Here's a quick video showing a simple property binding test in the xbmc driver. Enjoy!

Sorry if anyone has been waiting on this. I haven't been working too hard on it lately as free time is limited. Also I am unsure about the direction that I want to take it. Best wishes Elve friends!

Hi,

I have finally rebuild a new machine for Elve 2.0; have some ideas for a new Touch Layout, and would like to help you with the XVMC driver, as all my TVs in the house have an XBMC 12.2 deployment based on OpenElec.tv with either Raspberry PI or Zotac machines.

I have VS Remote debugger hooked up also, as I have some issues in my own Xantech and Clipsal drivers I am ironing out.
more than willing to give remote access or assist in coding - note - I am no c# guru

Would be delighted if you would share your current XBMC work so I can start playing
thank you
Damian

Sounds cool. I'll take a look at it this weekend. It's probably 90% there.  I just lost interest cause it seemed there was little interest in it.

Hye mate.
Are you still working on this driver?
I too have XBMC running on Raspberry Pi's around the house and would love to integrate them with Elve.
If there is any way I can help just let me know.
P

I had not been working on it. Been thinking about getting back into it though,  especially to show support for Elve during this transition time. I just wish debugging wasn't so tedious!

Sure, I'd be happy to send you what I got if you want to take a stab at completing it. Between work, kids, and a new baby on the way I just can't see myself working on this anytime soon.

That would be great mate, It's not really my area of expertise but I'd be more than happy to have a stab at it if you want to send me a download link.
Busy time for you eh? I know the feeling.
Thanks again.
