Calling device methodes for the REST API

The online manual has lots of examples here. What exactly is the problem are you having?
I always wanted to be somebody. In retrospect, I think I should have been more specific.

There's an example on these forums of calling a scene. Calling a device method is quite similar.

I can't find any exalmples of calling methods through the API.

The concret challange I have is to call a method on a device with parameters, like this:
Device name: mediaplayer
Method name: MovePlaylistItem
Parameters: FromIndex, ToIndex, ZoneID

Ah finally solved it :-)

Did not make the Connection that "RunScript" was the same as running a method on a device.
