Great, 194 is the link number that I saw in the data.

Didn't run the rule I have.
Here's the log data:
Code: [Select]
HAI Omni Driver received unsolicited packet (shown in hex): 21 11 3B 06 0E 00 02 04 7F 6D 80 03 00 00 5A 5B 6A 00 00 8F 58 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 2D 9C C4 F7 FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 46 F2 00 00 00 4E 2A B5 AB 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Thats from activating link 194. Upstart shows the link activated. The rule didn't run. I have the trigger set to link id 194 and link command is 1.

The unsolicited message you posted was for a thermostat and not a upb related message.

Did you see any errors or any uob or system event related messages?

No, so if that was a tstat then the link activation wasn't even seen by Elve. I refreshed the log a few times after activating it and that was literally the only entry.

Well technically the hai sdk never sent elve the message unless it was inadvertently deleted.

When diagnostic logging is on the elve hai driver will log every unsolicited message it receives.

I added another log items to the driver which will log the upb link message even if the driver thinks the message is empty. This will be in the next beta.

Those are all zone messages.

Is there anything in the HAI setup that needs to be set to broadcast System Events?

It really looks like something has changed.

On July 4th you posted a log file that contained the following line:

Code: [Select]
<rec><dt>2011-07-04 23:38:56.0083304Z</dt><s>Debug</s><msg>HAI Omni Driver received unsolicited packet (shown in hex): 21 03 37 FD C2 70 8B 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 9B 61 DC 2F 35 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 C3 E0 8B E7 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 60 31 55 0D FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 46 F2 00 00 00 31 42 86 F4 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 </msg><app>DriverService</app><ma>OPTIPLEX755</ma><ct>Driver</ct><cn>HAI Omni Pro II : HAI Omni Pro II</cn></rec>

That line is a HAI System Event for a UPB link activation of device 194.

I have not seen anything like that in any of your recent logs. This data would also result in more logging.  I did find a bug that would prevent the logging from occuring which will be fixed in the next beta, but we would still see the debug logging if Elve received the above command.

Still no good with .60.
Should've seen it around 8:18 or so.

That would be correct. At this point it looks like the Omni has stopped reporting the upb events. In my last post I showed the only instance of a upb link activation that I have seen in your logs. I don't think this is a driver issue at this point since none of the recent logs have shown any upb events.

Ok, this may be a UPB issue on my part. Got a little suspicious so I checked the log in upstart and the link itself isn't activating anymore. Took a pretty bad lightning strike a few weeks back so I'm guessing I may have lost part of this I/O module. It still operates my garage doors but the inputs might be dead.
I have another one so I'll connect the doorbell to it maybe tomorrow and try it again.
