We have success

Many thanks
I shall continue testing now.

An idea on the timeframe for the other features would be fantastic.
Out of the required features User Settings and knowing which user set/unset the alarm is the most important.

Paul

Thanks for the update.

There's no ETA on the other items.  It depends on when HAI responds, how well they respond and the complexity of the implementation.

John and Paul;

Omnipro Events (New ELVE event) - I know you can read HAi events, but that is about all

Buttons / Task (New ELVE event) - The current SDk allows you to invoke an HAI button, but they do not allow a button action to be sent out of HAI

User Names (Read) - This is in the current SDK

Messages (Read, Writes etc) - I know you can force HAI to say a message (if you have the sound board) and you can show a message on the HAI keypads, but thta is all.  You can not write messages from and external source to HAI.

User Settings (values, names and data types) I do not think that any of this is exposed.
Thanks!
Dave

Hi Dave

I've been working with John over the Omnipro driver, and I've been adding some new features to it.
Once its complete and checked by John I presume he will update the main driver.

My version of the driver now supports:-

User Settings (reading, setting & ELVE event on status change).
Button / Task ELVE event on being ran on omnipro.
Auxiliary Temp and Humidity zones High and Low Set Points (reading, setting + ELVE events on changes)
Real time update of auxiliary zone changes (was polled every 2 mins)
A version of forduration device method (lights, flags and outputs) that uses the Omnipro as the countdown timer.

Still having a couple of issues around user settings, but i've got some of my rules working with them now.
My next step is to do something with the events, but not sure what yet.

I reckon it will be a few more weeks yet before its finished.

Should this bug report be removed?

Perhaps the thread should be moved to feature requests.

Paul, where are we at on this one.

We fixed the flags issue and I believe added some of the other features but I wasn't sure if everything was working for you now?
