Global Cache IRE and IRL Driver

RSS
This is one of two drivers supporting the Global Cache IRE and IRL devices. This driver communicates with a Global Cache IRE or IRL device connected to a computer (while the GC-100/iTach driver connects to an IRE or IRL connected to a GC-100 or iTach).

Manufacturer: Global Cache

Primary Communications Port: Serial

Configuration Settings

  • Serial Port Name : (optional) The name of the serial port that the Global Cache IRE or IRL is connected to. Ex. COM1
  • IR Devices : (optional) The IR Devices associated with this device.

Events

  • Number PreviousValue : The previous property value.

Received IR

Occurs when an infrared command is received.

Whenever Filter:

  • InfraredCommandName : (optional) The infrared device and infrared command name to filter on using the following format: irdevicename.ircommandname
  • ProntoIRSequence : (optional) The Pronto CCF infrared code sequence to filter on. Example: 0000 0066 0000 0015...

EventArgs:

  • String ProntoIRSequence : The proto formatted comand sequence.
  • Number Frequency : The infrared frequency.
  • String OnOffCodeSequence : The on/off code sequence.

Instance Methods

SetPropertyForDuration ( String, TimeSpan, IScriptObject, IScriptObject )

Sets a property for a duration of time and then sets the property to a subequent value asynchronously. This action returns after setting the first value and the timer and subsequent property set run in the background. Subsequent sets of the same property will reset the timer if the subsequent value has not yet been set. This is an advanced feature, be sure to set the property name correctly.

Syntax

void SetPropertyForDuration( String propertyName, unknown duration, Object initialValue, Object finalValue )

Parameters

propertyName : The name of the property to set.
duration : The amount of time to wait after setting the initial value to set the subsequent value.
initialValue : The value to set the property to initially.
finalValue : The value to set the property to after the duration of time has passed.
