this keyword

Scripts run from a touch screen control action, can reference the the current control, using the this keyword. The this object is instantiated by the associated touch screen and can not be created in a script.

The this keyword is a convenient and faster alternative to specifying the fully qualified control object reference, such as TouchScreen.MyControl.

For a list of object members for a particular control type, see the Touch Screen Objects documentation.

For example, suppose you have a button control named MyButton on a touch screen interface. In the button's OnClick action script, you could reference the MyButton control by either the this keyword or TouchScreen.MyButton.

this.Visible = false; // hides the current control
